Produced by British companies See-Saw Films, this BAFTA-nominated historical drama features electric on screen chemistry between its two lead actors, Brit Kate Winslet and Ireland’s Saoirse Ronan. Yorkshire-born writer-director Lee Francis (God's Own Country) sets his smart and intimate romance against the dramatic and hauntingly beautiful backdrop of the Southern British coastline.

Set in 19th-century England, pioneering palaeontologist Mary Anning (Kate Winslet) searches for fossils with the hope of selling them to tourists. When an upper class visitor offers to pay Mary to look after his wife Charlotte Murchison (Saoirse Ronan), she begrudgingly accepts, not expecting the intense romantic bond that begins to develop between the two.
