Based on the novel by British author Anthony Burgess, this cold but compelling cult classic was both Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated. British actor Malcolm McDowell offers an impressive central performance, supported by the UK’s Michael Bates and Warren Clarke, alongside Northern Ireland’s Patrick Magee. Shot by British cinematographer John Alcott, the film was co-produced by London-based Hawk Films.

Synopsis

In a dystopian near-future, Alex (Malcolm McDowell) and his droogs spend their evenings getting intoxicated at the Korova Milkbar before terrorising the locals with horribly violent acts. After he’s jailed for murder, Alex agrees to try a behaviour modification technique designed to give him a deep aversion to violence.
