Get guidance on UK Screen Sector Tax Incentives...

Andy Wright | Certification Manager – TV | BFI

Book a session with Andy to discuss the UK’s Audio-Visual Expenditure Credits (AVEC) and the Enhanced AVEC (IFTC). Andy can provide advice and guidance on the qualifying criteria for the AVEC and the IFTC including the Cultural Test and the UK’s co-production treaties. The Certification Unit at the BFI is the first point of contact for producers and production companies wishing to qualify in order to claim the UK’s expenditure credits.

BFI Certification Unit

The Certification Unit is the first point of contact for applicants seeking to qualify their animation TV programme, film, high-end TV programme, children’s TV programme, or video game as British to access the UK’s Audio-Visual Expenditure Credits (AVEC) and Video Games Expenditure Credit (VGEC). We offer advice on qualifying for the AVEC and VGEC under the creative sector cultural tests, the UK’s bilateral co-production agreements and the European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production.
