Expanded Screen Fund - BFI National Lottery
The BFI National Lottery Expanded Screen Fund will support ambitious, immersive works of fiction that use new forms of interactive storytelling to create audience-facing narrative experiences. Projects must be screen-based and can use technologies such as VR, AR, XR, 360° media or other extended-reality media. Projects must explore imagined worlds, events or characters, and will need to demonstrate a clear creative rationale for their technical approach.
All projects should be intended for public exhibition to UK audiences, whether through attending moving image festivals, dedicated immersive spaces, or using platforms that enable individual experiences.
UK producers with a track record in successfully delivering immersive work can apply for up to £150,000.
