Channel 4 - Unscripted Proof of Concept Fund

Channel 4 today announces a new proof-of-concept development fund designed to back big, original British unscripted formats. The fund will greenlight three to five concepts, offering £100,000 each to provide substantial development support to indies to ensure ambitious ideas are properly tested and refined. Channel 4 will be looking for big, broad, returnable formats, with the ambition of taking at least one of the projects to full series commission.

Venice Production Bridge 2026: Final Cut in Venice

The 14th edition of the Final Cut in Venice programme will take place from September 6 to 8, 2026 during the Venice Production Bridge of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The programme assists in the completion of films from Africa and from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Yemen, and to offer producers and directors an opportunity to present films still in the production phase to international film professionals and distributors in order to facilitate post-production and promote co-production partnerships and market access.

Venice Production Bridge 2026: Gap Financing Market

TFL Co-Production Fund 2026

In 2026, the TFL Co-Production Fund will assign three grants of €50,000 to international co-productions currently in advanced development stage, planning to be completed by October 2028. VdR–Rough Cut Lab is an intimate workshop for four feature-length projects seeking specific feedback and advice from professionals on their most up-to-date rough cut. Future Proof supports the development of new, formally innovative non-fiction cinema and immersive works by emerging to mid-career directors and lead creatives.
