Production Finance Market - Film London

The Production Finance Market (PFM) is Film London's annual two-day financing event for film, run in association with the BFI London Film Festival. The 2026 edition will take place October 6-7 in Central London. The event comprises of 1:1 meetings between producers and financiers in addition to industry sessions, networking drinks and for the first time, Film London's IP showcase Upstream. The main strand of the PFM is for projects presented by established producers with budgets above €1m (budget requirement does not apply to documentaries).

TFL Co-Production Fund 2026

In 2026, the TFL Co-Production Fund will assign three grants of €50,000 to international co-productions currently in advanced development stage, planning to be completed by October 2028. A series of tailor-made consultancies will be organized according to the needs of the film teams, guiding them through the last preparatory stages before production. The selected teams will also be invited to attend the TFL Meeting Event in November 2026 in Turin, Italy. HKIFF Industry Project Market - Work-in-Progress (WIP) 2026

The WIP initiative is designed for film projects that are in the later stage of production, helping producers and directors to secure post-production funds, meet distribution agents and film festival programmers. Directors and producers of the selected projects will be invited to WIP to introduce their new films. Each team will have 10 minutes to present its project, including a video excerpt of the film, and then followed by a 5-min Q&A session from investors, distribution company representatives, post-production company representatives, film festivals programmers and the like. HAF will again partner with Marché du Film of Cannes Film Festival to shortlist five WIP projects to join the "HAF Goes to Cannes" programme in May 2026. Screening and exposure opportunities for the selected projects will be offered.

ACE Producers Mentoring Programme

The ACE Mentoring Programme aims to support upcoming producers in managing their careers and developing their international network, by providing them with the opportunity to learn from established mentors actively working within the European film industry. Each year up to 10 producers, based in the EU or a Creative Europe MEDIA Programme country, will be selected for the Mentoring Programme EU. However, there are also three spaces open for producers from non-EU countries. With this, ACE Producers wants to contribute in creating a film industry that is more inclusive and diverse. After being selected, each producer will be matched to a mentor according to their specific needs.
