UK Global Screen Fund Co-Production Lunch at Berlinale 2026

The UK Global Screen Fund in partnership with the British Council are hosting an International Co-production Lunch on Saturday 14 February 2026, during the Berlin International Film Festival. UK-based production companies can apply to attend to meet international decision makers, share potential co-production projects and develop international networks. Invitees will include international producers, international funders, international co-production labs, and potential financiers. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must have at least one lead producer credit on a feature film or TV project (including documentary and animation) which has been distributed in the UK or internationally within the last five years.

Audience Projects Fund - BFI National Lottery

The BFI National Lottery Audience Projects Fund is an open fund supporting distributors, exhibitors and festivals to bring independent films and immersive activity to audiences across the UK in a dynamic and original way. The activity supported by the fund will demonstrate cultural ambition and encourage audiences to take risks in the viewing choices they make. £19.7m National Lottery funding will be awarded over three years to support the exhibition and distribution of ambitious, audience-facing, film and immersive projects.

Northern Ireland Screen offers production funding in the form of a recoupable loan with profit participation or in limited circumstances a grant. The fund is intended to assist in completing budgets on productions which are almost fully financed. HKIFF Industry Project Market - Work-in-Progress (WIP) 2026

The WIP initiative is designed for film projects that are in the later stage of production, helping producers and directors to secure post-production funds, meet distribution agents and film festival programmers. Directors and producers of the selected projects will be invited to WIP to introduce their new films. Each team will have 10 minutes to present its project, including a video excerpt of the film, and then followed by a 5-min Q&A session from investors, distribution company representatives, post-production company representatives, film festivals programmers and the like. HAF will again partner with Marché du Film of Cannes Film Festival to shortlist five WIP projects to join the "HAF Goes to Cannes" programme in May 2026. Screening and exposure opportunities for the selected projects will be offered.

Taking place during the VdR–Industry days (19-22 April 2026) in Nyon, Switzerland, the VdR–Pitching showcase is Visions du Réel’s competitive international co-production and co-financing forum, launching up to fifteen projects in late development into the international market. ACE Producers Mentoring Programme

The ACE Mentoring Programme aims to support upcoming producers in managing their careers and developing their international network, by providing them with the opportunity to learn from established mentors actively working within the European film industry. Each year up to 10 producers, based in the EU or a Creative Europe MEDIA Programme country, will be selected for the Mentoring Programme EU. However, there are also three spaces open for producers from non-EU countries. With this, ACE Producers wants to contribute in creating a film industry that is more inclusive and diverse. After being selected, each producer will be matched to a mentor according to their specific needs. Throughout the year, the producers will have up to 4 meetings with their mentor, online or if possible in person at international festivals and events.

Funny Features - Glasgow Film Festival

Funny Features is delivered by Glasgow Film Festival and supported by BFI Creative Challenge Fund, awarding National Lottery Funding and is GFF’s UK-wide talent lab.
