Sofia Meetings - Projects in Development

Sofia Meetings is looking for first, second or third feature film projects and TV series in development that are looking for co-producers, sales and distribution. Feature Films Pitching will include a presentation of the director's first, second, and third feature fiction film projects, seeking co-producers, sales, and distribution. TV Series Pitching will include a presentation of TV series projects looking for co-producers. The 23rd Sofia Meetings will take place from March 18th to 22nd, 2026, within the framework of the 30th Sofia International Film Festival (March 12th–22nd, 2026).

International Co-production Fund - UK Global Screen Fund

The UK Global Screen Fund's International Co-production strand supports UK producers to work on international television (documentary and animation only) and feature film co-productions. All projects should have strong export potential and international audience reach, and should be able to demonstrate the potential to generate revenues for the UK producer.

Series in Development Marketplace at TV Drama Vision 2026 - Göteborg Film Festival

TV Drama Vision is the leading Nordic marketplace for drama series – for the 2026 edition, submissions are open for Series in Development projects from all European territories. Each year, TV Drama Vision gathers 800 delegates from 30 countries, connecting some of the most dynamic creators, producers, and executives in the industry. The projects selected for participation will have the opportunity to present a 5-minute on-stage pitch at TV Drama Vision, and access tailored one-on-one meetings, industry networking and social events, and more.

The UK Global Screen Fund has opened applications for its TV Producers Package to support participation at Content London 2025, taking place 1-4 December. UK-based independent TV producers are invited to apply now for the opportunity to connect with Content London’s vast international community, providing visibility, development and a valuable opportunity to forge new collaborations. C21 Pitch - Content London Drama Series Pitch 2025

The C21 Drama Series Pitch provides a high-visibility opportunity for established production companies aiming to use Content London as a marketing platform to amplify projects seeking additional finance. This year we are actively seeking new digital-first fiction projects, but the pitch remains open to longform and shortform linear projects. The drama series pitch finalists will then be invited to participate and to present a live pitch to delegates at Content London on December 2, 2025. The winning pitch will receive a marketing package through C21Media worth £30,000 to support development and pre-sales promotion of the show. All finalists will be invited to a networking event during Content London to meet with interested partners.

Funny Features - Glasgow Film Festival

Funny Features is delivered by Glasgow Film Festival and supported by BFI Creative Challenge Fund, awarding National Lottery Funding and is GFF’s UK-wide talent lab. The lab is for producers, writers and writer/directors developing their first or second comedy feature. To be eligible for Funny Features, you must apply as a creative team, which includes a producer and writer (or writer/director). We cannot accept applications from individuals. Over six months, selected creative teams will take part in an intensive programme combining script and story sessions and consultancy, tailored workshops on finance and film packaging, one-to-one mentorship, and dedicated pitching sessions. This rare opportunity offers comedy projects the chance to grow within a supportive and practical development environment, with access to peer-to-peer exchange and professional feedback.

Northern Ireland Screen offers production funding in the form of a recoupable loan with profit participation or in limited circumstances a grant. The fund is intended to assist in completing budgets on productions which are almost fully financed. Berlinale Co-Production Market: Series

The Berlinale Co-Production Market is the Berlinale’s networking platform for industry professionals actively working in international co-productions. At Co-Pro Series, ten drama series projects are pitched and have one-on-one meetings with interested partners. Producers worldwide can submit first-season, non-procedural, artistically strong drama series or miniseries projects in development for which they are looking for co production and financing partners. Important criteria include the artistic quality of the project as well as the profiles of the creatives and production company. Development and financing may also be at earlier stages.

Amazon - Regional Creatives Fund

£30,000 fund available to charities supporting individuals breaking into gaming, film, and TV, and other creative sectors where diversity and fresh perspectives can drive innovation and change. In addition to financial support, the Regional Creatives Fund will also use Amazon’s network of creative industry professionals to offer charities pro-bono upskilling programmes - including mentoring, work experience, placement opportunities, and digital training, with support provided by minds from Prime Video and Amazon Games.

International Co-production Workshop 2025 – Belfast, Northern Ireland

The UK Global Screen Fund is organising a two-day participatory workshop in Belfast for UK-based feature film and TV producers interested in international co-production. The workshop will consist of panels, talks, and workshops on co-production with a range of both UK-based and international experts and producers. Applicants must have a lead producer credit on a completed feature film or TV project (including documentary) that has been released or broadcast commercially within the last five years to be eligible to apply to participate.

Channel 4’s New Writers Scheme is open to unrepresented new writers looking for their first writing credit. BFI International Connections Fund – Group Attendance at the Asian Contents & Film Market 2025 – Busan, South Korea

Ace Series Special 2025

BFI International Connections Fund – Group Attendance at IDFA 2024

The BFI, in collaboration with Doc Society, is inviting applications from UK documentary producers (film and immersive) with active projects in development to take part in a Group Attendance to the International Documentary Festival in Amsterdam (IDFA) between 16 and 20 November 2024. IDFA is the world’s largest documentary film festival, held annually since 1988 in the Netherlands. IDFA is an independent, international meeting place with a wide range of professional activities as part of their industry programme, contributing to the development of non-fiction filmmakers and their projects at all stages.

BFI International Connections Fund – Group Attendance at San Sebastian Film Festival 2024

The BFI has developed an opportunity for UK producers to take part in a group attendance to the San Sebastian Film Festival’s Industria programme in Spain in September 2024. The festival and its industry section is a major meeting point for the European and Latin American film industries, playing a strong role in connecting potential co-producers and partners from both regions. The event welcomes filmmaking talent from countries including Spain, France, Germany, Argentina, Colombia and Brazil, and is therefore an excellent gateway for UK industry to meet their European and Latin American counterparts and to gain insight into co-production opportunities with the regions served by the event.

The Cross Continental Forum serves as a dynamic hub for global film and television co-production. ACE Producers

Each year, up to 20 new experienced producers are accepted into the ACE Network after completing the ACE Annual Programme of executive education. It consists of three workshops emphasising the key position and unique responsibilities of the producer throughout the whole process of making a film: development, financing, production, marketing and distribution. Experienced independent producers apply with a project in development that is suitable for co-production and aimed at the international market.

EAVE Producers Workshop

EAVE is aimed at producers (fiction, documentary and TV series), who are already working in the film and television industries who wish to expand their operation internationally by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and by building up a pan European professional network.
