BFI International Connections Fund – Group Attendance at the Asian Contents & Film Market 2025 – Busan, South Korea

The BFI is inviting applications from UK feature film and TV producers with projects in active development to take part in an in person group attendance to the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) as part of the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, 19-24 September 2025. Selected UK producers will participate in the ACFM's Producer Hub initiative, as well as gain access to the Asian Project Market, Busan Story Market, and ACFM industry panels and networking events.

The BFI, in collaboration with Doc Society, is inviting applications from UK documentary producers (film and immersive) with active projects in development to take part in a Group Attendance to the International Documentary Festival in Amsterdam (IDFA) between 16 and 20 November 2024. IDFA is the world’s largest documentary film festival, held annually since 1988 in the Netherlands. IDFA is an independent, international meeting place with a wide range of professional activities as part of their industry programme, contributing to the development of non-fiction filmmakers and their projects at all stages.

The BFI has developed an opportunity for UK producers to take part in a group attendance to the San Sebastian Film Festival’s Industria programme in Spain in September 2024. The festival and its industry section is a major meeting point for the European and Latin American film industries, playing a strong role in connecting potential co-producers and partners from both regions. ACE Producers

Each year, up to 20 new experienced producers are accepted into the ACE Network after completing the ACE Annual Programme of executive education. It consists of three workshops emphasising the key position and unique responsibilities of the producer throughout the whole process of making a film: development, financing, production, marketing and distribution. Experienced independent producers apply with a project in development that is suitable for co-production and aimed at the international market.

EAVE Producers Workshop

EAVE is aimed at producers (fiction, documentary and TV series), who are already working in the film and television industries who wish to expand their operation internationally by increasing their knowledge of producing and co-producing in Europe and by building up a pan European professional network.
