Synopsis

The commandant of Auschwitz, Rudolf Höss (Cristian Friedel), and his wife Hedwig (Sandra Hüller), live in an idyllic home next to the infamous camp. As they go about their daily activities of fishing and swimming in the lake, the more sinister aspects of their living situation become increasingly hard to ignore.
